Growth & Quoting Lead

Hilly's Trees & Landscapes is a Melbourne tree care and landscaping business. We look after trees and gardens for homeowners, schools, body corporates and builders across the east, south east, bayside and north.

We are a young, growing business with a simple aim: better streetscapes, in the air and on the ground, cared for over time. The work is done properly, and we are building the team that will take it further.

You will own the front end of the business: turning enquiries into booked work. It is a hands-on growth role for someone who wants to learn how a small business actually wins customers.

• Respond quickly to new enquiries by phone, email and text.
• Visit sites, understand what the client needs and put together clear, accurate quotes.
• Follow up every open quote and keep the pipeline moving.
• Build relationships with builders, schools, property managers and repeat clients.
• Keep the CRM tidy so everyone knows where every job stands.
• Spot what is working, what is not, and suggest improvements.

You don't need to know anything about trees yet. You will learn how we assess a job, price it and present it, starting alongside Ashley on site and in the office until you are confident quoting on your own.

Every week you get a 1:1 with the founder to review your numbers, talk through tricky quotes and plan what to work on next. You will see how the business runs, including the parts most part-time jobs never show you.

• $69,160 pro rata + super.
• An uncapped bonus tied to the work you help win.

This role is designed to grow. As the business grows and your study wraps up, there is a clear pathway to a full-time position with more responsibility across sales, operations and the team.

Study comes first. We agree fixed days up front, 20 to 24 hours a week, and plan around your timetable and exam periods. No surprise rosters.
