Land clearing on a residential or commercial site typically involves three concurrent scopes: arboricultural work for any trees on site, vegetation and undergrowth clearance, and stump grinding to enable footings or paving. We deliver all three under a single quote and invoice, with one site visit, one permit application, and one handover, rather than three separate contractors.
Most Melbourne councils require a planning permit for the removal of protected vegetation or any tree affected by a Vegetation Protection Overlay, Significant Landscape Overlay, Environmental Significance Overlay or Heritage Overlay. We identify the overlays affecting your site, prepare the supporting arborist report to AS4970, and lodge the application. We also notify immediately adjoining neighbours of the work schedule, which reduces complaints during the clearing window.
Site handover is mulched, levelled to within 50mm, and ready for the next contractor. Wood chip can either be left on site for re-use as mulch on the eventual garden, or carted offsite. The site is documented with photographs and a written handover note for the builder or owner record.
