Clearing an overgrown block before the next stage
Clearing can involve tree work, vegetation removal and stump grinding on a residential or commercial property. Tell us what the site is being prepared for, which areas need work and what must stay. A garden project and a development site can need quite different outcomes.
Permit requirements depend on the property, vegetation and proposed work. Clause 52.37, native-vegetation provisions, planning overlays, existing permit conditions and council requirements may apply separately. We identify the reports or approvals that need to be in place before the agreed clearing is scheduled.
Access, retained trees and the condition of the finished area are agreed before work starts. The quote sets out vegetation removal, stump work, handling of wood and grindings, and any further preparation included. Clearing alone does not establish that a site is ready for footings or other construction.

An overlay does not produce the same answer on every site. The schedule, exemptions, vegetation type, extent of work and other controls need to be reviewed. We record the assumed approval pathway in the quotation and do not clear regulated vegetation without the required authority.
