How accurate is the verdict?
It's a guide built from current Victorian council local laws and planning overlays. It's accurate for most common cases, but council rules change and edge cases happen. Always confirm with your council or book a free site visit before you start work.
What if I'm in a council the tool doesn't list?
Pick your council manually from the dropdown. The tool covers most Victorian metro and major regional councils. If yours isn't listed, give us a call on 0468 077 782 and we'll walk you through it.
Will you cut down my tree if you say a permit is needed?
We're licensed to apply for the permit on your behalf, prepare an arborist report if needed, and then carry out the works once council approves. That's a separate booking from this tool.
